Free Standard Delivery Is available for most areas in mainland UK and is carried out by a third-party courier service. Please note that additional charges may apply to some locations, including Scotland and Wales. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout when applicable.

ย

Standard Delivery typically takes between 2-5 working days, as indicated on the individual product page. You can also book specific delivery dates and times using our calendar available on the checkout shipping page.

ย

This is a signed for service and someone must be available to receive the goods.

Express, next-day, and Saturday delivery options are available for certain products and can be selected during the checkout process. Additional charges will apply, which will be calculated at checkout.

ย

All Deliveries are kerbside only and are carried out by a third-party haulage company using a large lorry equipped with a tail-lift and manual pump truck (not a Hiab Crane).

ย

Please inform us of potential access issues, such as narrow roads, small cul-de-sacs, low bridges, or weight limits. The minimum size of the standard lorry used for delivery is 18 tonnes.

ย

Receiving the goods

Once you receive the goods, we kindly ask you to check for any visible damages and report them to us immediately atย support@naturalpavingstore.co.uk. You will then have 72 hours to conduct a thorough inspection of your order. Please do not begin installation until any issues have been resolved.

ย

Cut off time for same day dispatch is 11am.

Order cancellations.

Any orders received after 3 PM can be cancelled or amended on the same day without any charge. Orders placed before 3 PM will already be in our dispatch system and may be subject to a cancellation fee. Please refer to our returns policy for more information.

Once an order has been dispatched and left our yard or warehouse, it cannot be cancelled, and our standard returns policy will apply.

ย

Returns

You must notify us within 14 days from the delivery date if you wish to return your order. We accept returns for full, unopened crates or unopened accessories during this period. However, made-to-measure orders, split packs, loose slabs, and clearance items are non-returnable.

ย

We offer split packs for all types of paving, including porcelain, sandstone, slate, and granite. This allows you to purchase only the specific amount you need, avoiding the waste associated with buying a full pack.

ย

We strongly recommend adding an allowance of 10% extra coverage to account for cuts, breakages, and spares when ordering our split packs.

ย

Please note that with our mixed packs, we can only split by square meter, not by individual slab sizes.

ย

Delivery costs for split packs are the same as those for full packs, regardless of the quantity ordered. Any delivery fees will be calculated at checkout.

ย

To facilitate a seamless and secure shipping process, a handling and packing fee of ยฃ85.00 will be applied at checkout. This fee is essential as it covers the necessary procedures of unpacking the items from the original crate, re-packaging them onto a new pallet, and ensuring they are securely wrapped for dispatch.

Payment options.

We accept most major credit and debit cards, including American Express. All payments are processed through our online STRIPE system at the end of your ordering process.

ย

We also offer PayPal services, including the option to pay in three monthly installments.

ย

To enhance security, if you place an order by phone, an invoice will be sent to your email address for payment completion.

Measurement

Make sure you measure from the longest point to the longest point, side to side and front to back. Use our coverage calculator to help you know what your requirement coverage is.

Add 10% Extra

The recommended industry standard is that you add 10% extra to your total measurements to allow for cuts, wastage, breakages and spares. By placing your order with us, you confirm that you have added this 10% extra as part of your own calculations and purchase.

Minimum Order

We can sell the paving by the sqm, however, for optimal transit, we recommend ordering a minimum of 5 sqm to ensure proper pallet weight.

Coverage

The coverage for each pack size is available on all products under the ‘Specification’ section. This indicates the area that can be covered, including the recommended joint width. Additionally, we provide the pack size, which indicates the number of slabs included in each pack.

Cut of times

For both standard and premium deliveries, the cutoff time for same-day dispatch is 11 a.m. If you need your order urgently and have missed this cutoff time, please call our team, and we will let you know if there is anything we can do to assist you.

Large Orders

Our website showcases all current promotions and discounts, reflecting our commitment to providing the best prices possible. For larger orders, we invite you to call us at 01329 238150, where our dedicated team may be able to offer additional savings.

Samples

We provide a sample service for all our paving products, allowing you to experience the materials before placing an order. You can find this option at the bottom of each product page or on our dedicated samples page.

Porcelain paving is a man-made product crafted in batches and may exhibit variations in colour and texture from batch to batch. This potential variance means that the porcelain you receive upon ordering may differ slightly from the samples sent, or our showroom displays viewed before making your purchase. To maintain product consistency, we advise against combining different sizes as these will inevitably be different batch codes. It is industry standard to allow an additional 10% on all orders.ย

ย

Should you have any concerns about these variations, please reach out to our sales team for personalised guidance. We recommend keeping note of the โ€˜batch colour codeโ€™ labelled on the packaging of the delivered porcelain. This is a white label of the side of the pallet and also the packing of each individual slab.

ย

While we strive to source the same batch for future orders, this isnโ€™t guaranteed. Therefore, we encourage ordering sufficient quantities initially to maintain uniformity in your project.

About Our Stone Cladding

Installing Split-Face Stone Cladding Tiles โ€“ Tips for a Professional Finish

Achieving a stunning wall or feature with split-face stone cladding tiles requires careful preparation and attention to detail. Follow these expert tips to ensure your installation is smooth, long-lasting, and visually impressive.

1. Preparing Your Tiles

When your tiles arrive, itโ€™s normal for them to appear dusty or grey. This is not a defect. Lightly wetting the surface before installation will enhance the natural colour variations and help create a balanced, even palette across your wall.

If your order includes multiple crates, mix tiles from each crate during installation. Natural stone is quarried with unique variations, so mixing tiles prevents noticeable colour bands and creates a more authentic, natural look.

2. Applying Adhesive

Split-face tiles are often slightly bowed. To compensate:

  • Apply a generous amount of adhesive to the back of each tile.

  • Avoid using a tile comb tool to spread the adhesive, as this may reduce contact and stability.

For clean, polished corners, use chrome tile beading on 45-degree angles. This ensures a professional, seamless finish.

3. Sealing for Bathrooms and Wet Areas

If installing split-face mosaic or cladding in a bathroom, shower, or wet area, it is recommended to seal the stone with a suitable stone sealer. This protects the surface from water splashes, stains, and moisture damage, keeping your tiles looking pristine for years.

4. Key Installation Tips

โœ… Wet tiles before installation to reveal natural colours
โœ… Mix tiles from multiple crates for consistent colour variation
โœ… Use plenty of adhesive to account for natural bowing
โœ… Avoid spreading adhesive with a comb tool
โœ… Use chrome beading for clean, professional corners
โœ… Seal tiles in wet areas to protect against moisture and stains

By following these steps, your split-face stone cladding tiles will create a durable, eye-catching feature wall that highlights the natural beauty and texture of stone.

Caring for Natural Slate โ€“ Tips for Long-Lasting Beauty

Installing a natural slate patio or cladding requires care to avoid staining during the process, and proper maintenance will ensure your stone retains its natural beauty for years to come.

1. Cleaning Your Slate

For regular maintenance, keep the surface clean with water. Using a garden hose is preferred over a high-pressure washer, as high-pressure washing can:

  • Damage the mica layer on the slate

  • Alter the natural appearance and sheen

  • Potentially harm joints between the slates

2. Removing Moss and Dirt

If moss, algae, or ingrained dirt develops, use a mild, slate-safe cleaning agent. A domestic detergent is usually sufficient for routine cleaning.

Important: Avoid wire brushes or metal scrubbing tools. Residue from metal can adhere to the slate surface, causing rust stains and damaging its natural look.

3. General Maintenance Tips

โœ… Regularly rinse with a garden hose instead of high-pressure washers
โœ… Use mild detergents for moss or dirt removal
โœ… Avoid wire brushes or metal tools to prevent staining
โœ… Inspect joints periodically to ensure stability

By following these care tips, your natural slate patio or cladding will remain durable, visually striking, and safe for all weather conditions, maintaining its authentic, natural charm.
