Standard Delivery typically takes between 2-5 working days, as indicated on the individual product page. You can also book specific delivery dates and times using our calendar available on the checkout shipping page.
This is a signed for service and someone must be available to receive the goods.
Express, next-day, and Saturday delivery options are available for certain products and can be selected during the checkout process. Additional charges will apply, which will be calculated at checkout.
All Deliveries are kerbside only and are carried out by a third-party haulage company using a large lorry equipped with a tail-lift and manual pump truck (not a Hiab Crane).
Please inform us of potential access issues, such as narrow roads, small cul-de-sacs, low bridges, or weight limits. The minimum size of the standard lorry used for delivery is 18 tonnes.
Receiving the goods
Once you receive the goods, we kindly ask you to check for any visible damages and report them to us immediately at support@naturalpavingstore.co.uk. You will then have 72 hours to conduct a thorough inspection of your order. Please do not begin installation until any issues have been resolved.
Cut off time for same day dispatch is 11am.
Order cancellations.
Any orders received after 3 PM can be cancelled or amended on the same day without any charge. Orders placed before 3 PM will already be in our dispatch system and may be subject to a cancellation fee. Please refer to our returns policy for more information.
Once an order has been dispatched and left our yard or warehouse, it cannot be cancelled, and our standard returns policy will apply.
Returns
You must notify us within 14 days from the delivery date if you wish to return your order. We accept returns for full, unopened crates or unopened accessories during this period. However, made-to-measure orders, split packs, loose slabs, and clearance items are non-returnable.
We offer split packs for all types of paving, including porcelain, sandstone, slate, and granite. This allows you to purchase only the specific amount you need, avoiding the waste associated with buying a full pack.
We strongly recommend adding an allowance of 10% extra coverage to account for cuts, breakages, and spares when ordering our split packs.
Please note that with our mixed packs, we can only split by square meter, not by individual slab sizes.
Delivery costs for split packs are the same as those for full packs, regardless of the quantity ordered. Any delivery fees will be calculated at checkout.
To facilitate a seamless and secure shipping process, a handling and packing fee of £85.00 will be applied at checkout. This fee is essential as it covers the necessary procedures of unpacking the items from the original crate, re-packaging them onto a new pallet, and ensuring they are securely wrapped for dispatch.
Payment options.
We accept most major credit and debit cards, including American Express. All payments are processed through our online STRIPE system at the end of your ordering process.
We also offer PayPal services, including the option to pay in three monthly installments.
To enhance security, if you place an order by phone, an invoice will be sent to your email address for payment completion.
Measurement
Make sure you measure from the longest point to the longest point, side to side and front to back. Use our coverage calculator to help you know what your requirement coverage is.
Add 10% Extra
The recommended industry standard is that you add 10% extra to your total measurements to allow for cuts, wastage, breakages and spares. By placing your order with us, you confirm that you have added this 10% extra as part of your own calculations and purchase.
Minimum Order
We can sell the paving by the sqm, however, for optimal transit, we recommend ordering a minimum of 5 sqm to ensure proper pallet weight.
Coverage
The coverage for each pack size is available on all products under the ‘Specification’ section. This indicates the area that can be covered, including the recommended joint width. Additionally, we provide the pack size, which indicates the number of slabs included in each pack.
Cut of times
For both standard and premium deliveries, the cutoff time for same-day dispatch is 11 a.m. If you need your order urgently and have missed this cutoff time, please call our team, and we will let you know if there is anything we can do to assist you.

Samples
We provide a sample service for all our paving products, allowing you to experience the materials before placing an order. You can find this option at the bottom of each product page or on our dedicated samples page.
Porcelain paving is a man-made product crafted in batches and may exhibit variations in colour and texture from batch to batch. This potential variance means that the porcelain you receive upon ordering may differ slightly from the samples sent, or our showroom displays viewed before making your purchase. To maintain product consistency, we advise against combining different sizes as these will inevitably be different batch codes. It is industry standard to allow an additional 10% on all orders.
Should you have any concerns about these variations, please reach out to our sales team for personalised guidance. We recommend keeping note of the ‘batch colour code’ labelled on the packaging of the delivered porcelain. This is a white label of the side of the pallet and also the packing of each individual slab.
While we strive to source the same batch for future orders, this isn’t guaranteed. Therefore, we encourage ordering sufficient quantities initially to maintain uniformity in your project.

To ensure your project runs smoothly, there are several important factors to consider when your limestone cobble setts arrive and during installation.
When your limestone cobble setts are delivered, it is completely normal for them to appear dusty, pale, or chalky on arrival. Indian limestone often looks significantly lighter straight out of the crate due to quarry dust and its naturally muted dry finish.
This initial appearance may differ from the photos on our website—especially as images may show the stone wet, sealed, or after weathering, when limestone displays deeper, richer tones.
To reveal the true colour variation of your limestone cobbles (such as Kota Black, Kota Blue, Brown or Tandur), simply wet a few cobbles. This will give you a realistic idea of how the finished area will look and help you plan a well-balanced blend of shades across your pathway, driveway, or patio border.
Limestone is a 100% natural material, and each crate is randomly packed. Tones and subtle variations will differ across packs depending on the quarry section.
If you are using more than one pallet, we strongly recommend blending cobbles from all crates during installation. This ensures:
Consistent colour distribution
A natural, harmonious blend across the entire area
Prevention of large patches of similar tones
Natural stone is not batch-controlled like manufactured paving. For consistent results, we advise ordering all the cobbles needed for the same area at the same time.
Future pallets may come from a different layer of the quarry, resulting in differences in tone and surface texture.

As with all natural stone products, we strongly recommend priming limestone cobbles during installation.
Brush SBR onto the underside of each cobble.
This helps reduce moisture absorption and prevents issues such as:
Staining from the bedding layer

Allow the SBR to dry fully.
Coat the entire underside of the cobble with a full-coverage slurry.
This ensures:
Strong adhesion
Full contact with the mortar bed
Reduced risk of hollow spots or “mirror staining”

Mirror staining is difficult to fix later—correct installation is essential.
Always use appropriate tools when cutting limestone cobbles. You will need:
A high-quality diamond blade suitable for cutting hard natural stone
A powerful disc cutter designed for dense stone materials
Using incorrect tools may chip the edges or result in uneven cuts.
A high-quality, all-weather brush-in jointing compound makes the job easier and provides excellent long-term stability.
Important:
Limestone is more sensitive to staining than some other stones.
Dark jointing compounds may leave slight edge staining on lighter limestones such as Tandur. Choose jointing colours carefully.
Never use acid-based cleaners — limestone reacts with acid and can be permanently damaged.

After installation and before jointing to remove dust, slurry marks, and debris
After the joints have cured, to clean the finished surface fully
This ensures a clean, uniform finish.

Laying limestone cobble setts can be a messy process, so it’s important to take extra care during installation to minimise the risk of staining or surface marks. Always sheet down and board your working area where possible to protect the cobbles from excess cement, slurry, or debris. If any residue does get onto the stone during installation, clean it off immediately. Once cement or mortar begins to dry, it can be extremely difficult to remove and may permanently mark the surface.
Indian limestone cobble setts, while less porous than sandstone, can still absorb liquids if residues are left on the surface. Wet leaves, bird droppings, soil, mulch, and moss can all cause staining if allowed to sit for long periods.
Because limestone has a fine-grained structure, stains can penetrate deeper and may be difficult to remove once absorbed. Regular cleaning and preventing organic debris from building up will significantly reduce the risk of marking.
To protect your limestone cobbles from staining, moisture absorption, and surface lightening (particularly important for darker stones like Kota Black), we strongly recommend sealing them.
Sealing helps:
Slow down moisture penetration
Reduce algae, mould, and moss growth
Protect against weathering and frost
Maintain richer and more consistent colouring
Seal approximately 8–12 weeks after installation, once the stone and bedding layers have naturally dried.
If sealing earlier than 6–9 months, use only a breathable natural stone sealer.
Non-breathable, resin-type sealers can trap moisture beneath the surface, causing mineral deposits or patchy discolouration.
Choose between a natural finish sealer (keeps the dry, matt look) or a colour-enhancing sealer (deepens tones for a richer “wet look”).
In the first few months after installation, you may notice a fine white or pale grey powder forming on the cobbles. This is efflorescence, a completely natural process common with all cement- and calcium-based products, including limestone.
It occurs as mineral salts rise to the surface while the stone and bedding layers dry out — particularly in damp or humid weather.
