Free Standard Delivery Is available for most areas in mainland UK and is carried out by a third-party courier service. Please note that additional charges may apply to some locations, including Scotland and Wales. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout when applicable.

ย

Standard Delivery typically takes between 2-5 working days, as indicated on the individual product page. You can also book specific delivery dates and times using our calendar available on the checkout shipping page.

ย

This is a signed for service and someone must be available to receive the goods.

Express, next-day, and Saturday delivery options are available for certain products and can be selected during the checkout process. Additional charges will apply, which will be calculated at checkout.

ย

All Deliveries are kerbside only and are carried out by a third-party haulage company using a large lorry equipped with a tail-lift and manual pump truck (not a Hiab Crane).

ย

Please inform us of potential access issues, such as narrow roads, small cul-de-sacs, low bridges, or weight limits. The minimum size of the standard lorry used for delivery is 18 tonnes.

ย

Receiving the goods

Once you receive the goods, we kindly ask you to check for any visible damages and report them to us immediately atย support@naturalpavingstore.co.uk. You will then have 72 hours to conduct a thorough inspection of your order. Please do not begin installation until any issues have been resolved.

ย

Cut off time for same day dispatch is 11am.

Order cancellations.

Any orders received after 3 PM can be cancelled or amended on the same day without any charge. Orders placed before 3 PM will already be in our dispatch system and may be subject to a cancellation fee. Please refer to our returns policy for more information.

Once an order has been dispatched and left our yard or warehouse, it cannot be cancelled, and our standard returns policy will apply.

ย

Returns

You must notify us within 14 days from the delivery date if you wish to return your order. We accept returns for full, unopened crates or unopened accessories during this period. However, made-to-measure orders, split packs, loose slabs, and clearance items are non-returnable.

ย

We offer split packs for all types of paving, including porcelain, sandstone, slate, and granite. This allows you to purchase only the specific amount you need, avoiding the waste associated with buying a full pack.

ย

We strongly recommend adding an allowance of 10% extra coverage to account for cuts, breakages, and spares when ordering our split packs.

ย

Please note that with our mixed packs, we can only split by square meter, not by individual slab sizes.

ย

Delivery costs for split packs are the same as those for full packs, regardless of the quantity ordered. Any delivery fees will be calculated at checkout.

ย

To facilitate a seamless and secure shipping process, a handling and packing fee of ยฃ85.00 will be applied at checkout. This fee is essential as it covers the necessary procedures of unpacking the items from the original crate, re-packaging them onto a new pallet, and ensuring they are securely wrapped for dispatch.

Payment options.

We accept most major credit and debit cards, including American Express. All payments are processed through our online STRIPE system at the end of your ordering process.

ย

We also offer PayPal services, including the option to pay in three monthly installments.

ย

To enhance security, if you place an order by phone, an invoice will be sent to your email address for payment completion.

Measurement

Make sure you measure from the longest point to the longest point, side to side and front to back. Use our coverage calculator to help you know what your requirement coverage is.

Add 10% Extra

The recommended industry standard is that you add 10% extra to your total measurements to allow for cuts, wastage, breakages and spares. By placing your order with us, you confirm that you have added this 10% extra as part of your own calculations and purchase.

Minimum Order

We can sell the paving by the sqm, however, for optimal transit, we recommend ordering a minimum of 5 sqm to ensure proper pallet weight.

Coverage

The coverage for each pack size is available on all products under the ‘Specification’ section. This indicates the area that can be covered, including the recommended joint width. Additionally, we provide the pack size, which indicates the number of slabs included in each pack.

Cut of times

For both standard and premium deliveries, the cutoff time for same-day dispatch is 11 a.m. If you need your order urgently and have missed this cutoff time, please call our team, and we will let you know if there is anything we can do to assist you.

Large Orders

Our website showcases all current promotions and discounts, reflecting our commitment to providing the best prices possible. For larger orders, we invite you to call us at 01329 238150, where our dedicated team may be able to offer additional savings.

Samples

We provide a sample service for all our paving products, allowing you to experience the materials before placing an order. You can find this option at the bottom of each product page or on our dedicated samples page.

Porcelain paving is a man-made product crafted in batches and may exhibit variations in colour and texture from batch to batch. This potential variance means that the porcelain you receive upon ordering may differ slightly from the samples sent, or our showroom displays viewed before making your purchase. To maintain product consistency, we advise against combining different sizes as these will inevitably be different batch codes. It is industry standard to allow an additional 10% on all orders.ย

ย

Should you have any concerns about these variations, please reach out to our sales team for personalised guidance. We recommend keeping note of the โ€˜batch colour codeโ€™ labelled on the packaging of the delivered porcelain. This is a white label of the side of the pallet and also the packing of each individual slab.

ย

While we strive to source the same batch for future orders, this isnโ€™t guaranteed. Therefore, we encourage ordering sufficient quantities initially to maintain uniformity in your project.

Porcelain Paving Slabs โ€“ Stylish, Durable & Low Maintenance

Fossil Mint porcelain paving slabs are a popular choice for UK patios, gardens, and outdoor living spaces. Manufactured using refined clay and natural minerals and fired at extremely high temperatures, porcelain paving slabs are exceptionally strong, non-porous, and built to perform in the British climate.

Ideal for both contemporary and traditional designs, porcelain paving slabs provide a sleek, modern appearance with consistent colour, clean edges, and refined surface textures.

Benefits of Porcelain Paving Slabs

  • Premium Modern Finish
Precision-cut porcelain paving slabs deliver a high-end, contemporary look, perfect for patios, terraces, and outdoor seating areas.

  • Exceptional Strength & Durability
20mm porcelain paving slabs are frost-resistant, fade-resistant, and highly durable, making them suitable for high-traffic residential areas when installed correctly.

  • Slip Resistant Surface

Before beginning your project, itโ€™s recommended to order 10โ€“15% more porcelain paving than your calculated area to allow for cuts, waste, or unexpected breakages during installation.

Porcelain paving tiles are batch-coded, which means there may be subtle variations in print, shade, and tone between different production runs. When your order arrives, always check and record the batch codes printed on the boxes. This will make it easier to match the same batch in the future if additional tiles are required. However, because matching batches is not always guaranteed, itโ€™s best practice to order all the paving youโ€™ll need for the entire project at once.

Handling and Installation

Porcelain tiles are extremely durable once installed but can chip if mishandled before laying. Take care when unpacking and moving each slab.

Before laying, itโ€™s essential to apply a porcelain primer or slurry mix to the underside of every tile. This step ensures a strong bond between the tile and the mortar bed, as porcelain is a non-porous material that doesnโ€™t absorb traditional cement easily. The slurry should be applied just before placing each slab into position.

To maintain even and consistent joints, use tile spacers between slabs throughout the installation process. This will help achieve a professional, uniform appearance.

Grouting

Once the paving is fully laid and set, the joints should be filled with a porcelain-specific grout in your chosen colour. Follow the manufacturerโ€™s instructions carefully to achieve a neat, durable finish.

When applying grout, itโ€™s important to remove any residue from the surface promptly, as dried grout can leave a haze that is difficult to remove. To reduce this risk, you may wish to use a pre-grout sealer designed for porcelain paving, which helps prevent grout haze and simplifies cleaning.

Sealing

Unlike natural stone, porcelain paving does not require sealing, as it has a vitrified, non-porous surface that resists stains, moisture, and frost. However, you may choose to seal the grout joints for added protection against algae growth and staining.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Porcelain paving is exceptionally low-maintenance. Because it is non-absorbent, it resists staining from common outdoor substances such as oil, grease, or organic matter. Regular sweeping and occasional washing with warm soapy water or a neutral pH porcelain cleaner are usually all thatโ€™s required to keep it looking fresh.

Avoid harsh chemical or acidic cleaners. If stubborn marks appear, use a product specifically formulated for porcelain tiles. Power washing can be used occasionally, but always maintain a safe distance to avoid damaging grout joints.

Efflorescence

Porcelain tiles are not affected by efflorescence in the same way as natural stone can be, as they are non-porous. However, efflorescence may appear on the grout joints, which can be cleaned using a specialist efflorescence remover that is safe for porcelain surfaces.

Jointing

For jointing porcelain paving, use an exterior-grade brush-in jointing compound or a porcelain tile grout recommended by the manufacturer. Light-coloured jointing compounds are best suited for light tiles to avoid edge staining. Always follow the productโ€™s instructions carefully.

Seasonal Care

Porcelain is frost-proof and resistant to algae, making it ideal for the UK climate. In autumn and winter, remove fallen leaves promptly to prevent surface debris buildup. Periodic cleaning in spring will refresh the tiles and maintain their original colour and slip resistance.

Long-Term Performance

Porcelain outdoor tiles are designed for decades of use. Their fade-resistant colour, anti-slip surface (typically R11 or R12 rated), and high strength make them a practical and stylish choice for patios, pathways, and outdoor entertaining areas. With minimal maintenance, your porcelain paving will continue to look stunning year after year.
